It's the day of the big annual Lionville musical cooking contest! The jury, presided over by the lion, tastes one after the other, all the dishes prepared by the animals. But soon the contest goes wrong: the musicians go on strike, and the jury discovers that one of the dishes is poisoned... Who is after the lion? Who is the culprit? It's the conductor of course! He wanted to get rid of the lion to take power and become the new king of the animals...
A resolutely humorous version of this great classic by Camille Saint-Saëns, brilliantly narrated by Jacques Gamblin, and performed by the Victor-Hugo Orchestra of Franche-Comté.
